CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE
Choosing the right size ensures the best possible protection. When the jacket fits right, it protects the most important muscle groups and stays perfectly on even while sprinting. Pomppa jackets are well suited for both slender and heavily built dogs. When choosing the right size, it’s important that the jacket doesn’t restrict the dog’s natural movement or disturb them in any other way. The right size is determined by the back length of the dog. We recommend that you avoid choosing a smaller size than your dog’s back length indicates, especially when choosing JumppaPomppa. However, depending on the dog’s proportions and fur type, the right size may be larger than the size according to the back length. It’s also important to consider the intended use of the product. A jacket meant for active lifestyle should fit snugly, whereas a jacket for calm exercise and downtime during training can be slightly larger.
- BACK – The back length is measured from the neck to the base of the tail. Start measuring from the meeting point of the neck and back.
- NECK – The neck circumference is measured from the same point as the back length. This measure is only relevant when choosing JumppaPomppa.
- CHEST –  The chest circumference is measured from the widest point of the chest.
- WAIST – The waist circumference is measured from the narrowest part of the dog’s abdomen.

KuoriPomppa, the unlined dog shell jacket, is the latest addition to Pomppa rainwear range. It protects the dog from rain, wind and mud. KuoriPomppa has the same beloved design as other Pomppa coats, but now with new updates!

KuoriPomppa is a versatile all-purpose coat for dogs with dense fur, and for cold-sensitive dogs it works as a raincoat for warmer weather. KuoriPomppa can be used individually as a raincoat, but it also works as a shell jacket over a midlayer like JumppaPomppa.
CHOOSING THE RIGHT SIZE
Pomppa sizes are based on dog’s back length in centimetres. Choose the right size primarily according to your dog’s back length. The fit of KuoriPomppa is similar to Sade-, Kevyt-, and PerusPomppa, however the adjustable neckline offers more leeway when choosing the right size. If you dog’s measurements fall between two sizes, choose the smaller size only if your dog carries their tail up.
Measure your dog according to the instructions below. Make sure to leave room for the dog’s fur. Note, depending on the dog’s proportions, the belt may not set on the narrowest part of the dog’s abdomen.

Product Care:
- Gentle machine wash 30 °C (close zipper)
- Do not use fabric softener
- Do not tumble dry
- Do not iron
- Do not bleach
- Wash with similar colors
- Wash with mild detergent
- After each wash, reactive the coat’s water-repellency
- After a few washes, restore the DWR with waterproofing spray
