Pomppa Dog Coats
The Story of Pomppa
The founder of Pomppa, Meri Alku, made the first Pomppa dog coats for her own agility dogs. The goal was to design a long-lasting and durable product that allows unlimited and unrestricted movement. This is how the classic PerusPomppa was created. It was introduced to the public for the first time in 2008 at Agility World Championships in Helsinki. Thus, Pomppa jackets have been part of the everyday life of dog owners for over a decade!
Understanding the users and and their needs is the foundation of their design process. All the carefully considered details make the products suitable for both companion and working dogs. Pomppa is a well-fitting, weather-protective and durable coat that challenges even the harshest weather.
All operations at Pomppa are guided by a strong set of values, which emphasizes the dog’s well-being, valuing each other and respecting the environment. We believe that there is no such thing as bad weather, only bad gear!
As their operations continue their rapid growth, Pomppa believe it’s increasingly important to pay attention to their impact on the world around us. Pomppa are continually working to identify areas requiring improvement to minimize the negative effects operations have on the environment. They’re only at the starting line of our sustainability journey, and there’s still a long path ahead.
