About Me

I have always had pets - dogs, cats, birds, goldfish, and even a rabbit at one stage. My husband Denis loves animals as much as I do, and our home is filled with the love (and hair) of dogs!

Our dogs are our family. We love holidaying with them around our beautiful state of Western Australia, and we train and compete in dog sports like Agility and Obedience.

Diva Pet is the legacy of my beautiful girl Diva, a little border collie which a lot of personality. She suffered terribly from anxiety, and trying to be the best dog parent to her opened my eyes to the world of canine behaviour, then nutrition, enrichment, performance sports, and canine biomechanics.

Through this little business, I want to bring you products that are not only hard to find in Australia, but have a link to health, safety, and the overall wellbeing of our canine companions.

I believe all pets deserve to be loved and hope my small family business helps you be the best pet parent possible, providing you with ideas and products to enrich the lives of your pets and your family.

Our Family

The pets who have enriched our lives.

Buster

A beautiful Border Collie x German Shepherd, Buster owned my husband Denis when we first met.

He loved his walks, the beach, and his food, and from this picture, clearly not his bath time!

Gidget

The first dog I ever wholly owned myself, Gidget was a Maltese x Shihtzu.

A true lap dog, she nursed me through Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and then became an accredited therapy dog, visiting elderly residents in a nursing home.

Rocky

Rocky and I were an accredited therapy dog team at Princess Margaret Hospital for Children, changing the lives of sick kids every week for over 5 years.

He also featured in a few advertising campaigns and short films.

Diva

Diva had such a zest for life but was challenged by anxiety and fear of other dogs. To help her I completed a two-year diploma in Canine Behaviour.

Taken too soon by cancer, aged only 7, her name proudly lives on here with Diva Pet.

Buddy

Buddy was rehomed with us at 2 years old.

The most gentle, hazel eyed boy you could ever meet, Buddy is now a Masters agility dog, also titled in obedience, tricks, and Rally-O and continues to enrich our lives every day.

Soda

True to her name, Soda is bubbly and vivacious, finding the absolute joy in every single day - you've never met a happier little bubble.

Her journey is just beginning in dog sport, and life itself, and we can't wait to watch her grow.
